Manchester United are ready to send Henrikh Mkhitaryan back to Borussia Dortmund.

The Independent says United are open to letting Mkhitaryan go - and his former club is in the box seat.

The Armenian has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho and there have been claims of a falling out between the two.

And United are 'willing to let him go for the right deal'.

A return to the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund is said to be his most likely move.

It would follow in the footsteps of the likes of Mario Goetze, Nuri Sahin and Shinji Kagawa, who all left to find pastures elsewhere weren't greener.
