Man Utd prepare for FA Youth Cup semi against Chelsea

Manchester United are ready for tomorrow's FA Youth Cup semifinal.

United coach Paul McGuinness is expecting another FA Youth Cup cracker when Chelsea provide the opposition at Old Trafford in Friday's semi-final first-leg match.

He told manutd.com: "Now we've got this far, we might as well have a really good go in these two games and that would really bring the lads on to get to the final. We controlled a lot of play against Charlton, which was good, and we stuck at our game. It was a really tough game and a real cup tie.

"I don't know about 'Fergie time' but we had 10 minutes of injury time where they had three good chances and then we got the goal. It was really exciting stuff and I'm hoping for another big crowd - or even bigger - for this game against Chelsea. You never know what will happen in these games.

"Chelsea have got four or five players with experience from last year and they were 3-0 down at Nottingham Forest and came back to win 4-3.

"If it was Chelsea versus Manchester United in an FA Cup semi-final, you wouldn't know how to call it and it's the same with the youth team - even more so as the youth team don't have that experience.

"So anything could happen in this game and it's well worth people coming and having a look."
