Manchester United are planning to postpone plans to sign Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.

Mangala is a top defensive target for United manager David Moyes.

The Daily Mail says United will have decisions to make over the future of Rio Ferdinand among others in the summer but feel they have enough bodies in central defence to make acquisitions there less of a priority for now. Roma's Mehdi Benatia is another defender they will consider.
