Manchester United are watching Sporting CP midfielder William Carvalho.

A Bola says United will once again try and capture Carvalho this summer.

The Portuguese defensive midfielder was a reported target for United among other Premier League teams last summer after impressing in the 2014 World Cup.

It is now thought that United are ready to pay £22million for the 22-year-old, after United scouts were sent to Sporting's 1-1 draw with Pacos de Ferreira.

Carvalho has consistently impressed in the Primeira Liga this season.
