Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is tracking Chilean wonderkid Alexis Sanchez.

The 19-year-old's agent, has had contact with the club over a £10m bid for the River Plate forward, although United have been told they will need to cough up more than that. Udinese own his registration and have offered the youngster a big pay-day, while Juventus and Barcelona are also on his case.

But his preferred destination is United, although they would have to stump up close to £15m.
