Manchester United are preparing a huge bid for wantaway Tottenham fullback Danny Rose.
The Sun says United is ready to make a £50million New Year bid to land Rose.
And England star Rose has been left out of Tottenham's official 2018 calendar – sparking fears his days at the club are numbered.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has not been able to solve his left back problem with Luke Shaw still making slow progress on his way back from injury. Mourinho has had to use both Ashley Young and Daley Blind in that position.
Now he wants a permanent left-back but also someone who can get forward and play a wing-back role as Rose does for Spurs.
A club insider said: “Danny is not the only player who doesn't appear in the calendar – Ben Davies, Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko are not in it either, along with our summer signings.
“People will say it doesn't look good for Danny but the fact he has not played this season means there are no images of him in our new Nike kit that could be used in the calendar.
“I am sure, that after he returns to action, he will be in the 2019 calendar – assuming he is still with us, obviously."
