Manchester United senior players have been impressed by Bebe's raw speed.
Bebe is set to make his debut in the Carling Cup tie with Scunthorpe United tonight.
The Daily Mail says he has impressed some United players with his raw pace in training - with one player saying he is similarly quick to the French forward David Bellion who briefly played for the club between 2003 and 2005.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson also remains confident Bebe's technical skills are sufficient to give him a chance of making it at Old Trafford.
