The evergreen winger has taken on coaching duties on top of playing under new boss David Moyes.
But Giggs insists he is in great shape and is still enjoying his football.
He said: "Apparently 40 is the new 30, so I'm looking forward to it. I know it is quite daunting for some people.
"But you just have to embrace it and not worry too much about it. I feel pretty good at the moment."
