Man Utd plan to hijack Chelsea move for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro

Manchester United is ready to launch an enormous bid to bring Juventus left-back Alex Sandro to Old Trafford.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho will be handed £80million to spend in the upcoming transfer and it is believed the left-back position is his number one priority.

Tottenham's Danny Rose has been the one name constantly thrown around, but the Daily Record claims Sandro's desire to leave Juventus in the new year has prompted United to reassess their options.

Sandro has been a long target for Chelsea, and if United are successful are successful in luring the Brazilian to the north west, they would have one over their title rivals.

To free up room at the position, it is understood United are willing to part with Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian in January.
