Manchester United are lining up a January move for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
The Daily Mail says United are pushing to wrap up a £30million deal for Spain under 21 midfielder Soler before the summer transfer window even opens.
United have started talks with Soler's club Valencia, with the Liga side unlikely to hold out for the player's £75 million buyout clause due to financial issues.
After a series of disappointing transfer windows following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, United believe their ability to complete the signings of Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic in July has helped their impressive start to the current season and they are keen to do their business early again.
