Manchester United are contemplating a massive summer clean out in order to land Gareth Bale.
The Daily Mirror reports that Louis van Gaal is set to offload Dutch striker Robin van Persie and Argentine winger Angel Di Maria at the end of the season so he can lure Wales international Bale from Real Madrid.
Despite Bale experiencing a below-par season with the Spanish giants, the Red Devils are keen on the 25-year old who left Tottenham for the Santiago Bernabeu on a world-record £85million deal in the summer of 2013.
