A victory parade for Manchester United's 20th league title will not overshadow any celebrations rivals Manchester City hold if they win the FA Cup, a council chief has said, reports BBC News. United will hold an open-top bus parade through Manchester on Monday 13 May.

It comes two days after Manchester City are due to play Wigan in the FA Cup final at Wembley, on Saturday 11 May.

Manchester council's city centre spokesman, Pat Karney, said City have not made any decisions about a parade because their trophy is yet to be won.
