Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and his No2 Carlos Queiroz are both facing FA raps after blasting ref Martin Atkinson for his performance in Saturday's FA Cup defeat to Portsmouth.

United were furious with the treatment dished out to Cristiano Ronaldo, who also steamed: "The referee was unbelievable. Refs don't protect skilful players."
