Man Utd pair, Arsenal duo, Liverpool keeper among best young talents in world football

The Guardian has released their Top 60 young talents in world football for 2016.

Promising talent born in 1999 have been identified as those with very bright futures and a number of players at Premier League clubs have featured on the elite list.

Manchester United pair Indy Boonen and Tahith Chong are among the names listed with the write up saying of Belgian attacking midfielder Boonen: “…is a neat finisher and dreams of following in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford and joining up with the first team as soon as possible."

Of Dutch winger Chong, The Guardian suggests: “Explosive, technically gifted but also a great reader of the game, Chong greatly disappointed Feyenoord by joining Manchester United."

Reiss Nelson and Vlad Dragomir were Arsenal's representatives, with Englishman Nelson described as: “The stand-out prospect in his age group at the club, there is a show-stopping quality to Nelson's game."

As for Romanian ace Dragomir: “The No10 playmaking role is arguably his preferred position. The 17-year-old models his game on Toni Kroos and Mesut Özil."

Also mentioned in the top 60, is Chelsea's English full-back Dujon Sterling, Liverpool's Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, Manchester City's Spanish playmaker Brahim Diaz, West Ham United's Portuguese midfielder Domingos Quina, Sunderland forward Joel Asoro of Sweden and Belgian winger Thibaud Verlinden of Stoke City.

AC Milan's star-in-the-making Gianluigi Donnarumma also features, as does AIK's Swedish striker Alexander Isak, who is a target for Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
