Manchester United have told Nani to SHUT IT. The Mirror says United have tried to GAG Nani over his uncertain future.
United are said to have told the Portugal midfielder to stop his public bleating over his contract dispute with the club. Nani has two years left on his current deal, but contract talks with United have broken down over his excessive wage demands.
United tried to offload Nani to Zenit St Petersburg in the summer transfer window, but a deal never materialised. Nani has made no secret of his anger at what he perceives to be his mistreatment by United over his contract situation.
United, in turn, have been angered by claims that Nani intends to run down his contract and leave for free when it expires, unless he gets a new deal.
The club are understood to have had enough of the 26-year-old complaining and told the winger to shut up and concentrate on playing football.
