Manchester United officials are convinced they can prise Gareth Bale away from Tottenham.
It's understood Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has no interest in doing business with United after losing Michael Carrick and Dimitar Berbatov in the past.
But the Sunday Express says despite Levy's assertion that Bale will remain in North London at least for another season, aimed at putting Real Madrid off the scent, United sources indicate that Moyes' new employers believe they are in with a decent chance of sealing a deal which would be worth around £60m.
