Manchester United are preparing a final bid for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The Sunday Mirror says the Premier League champions are ready with a final £40million offer for Barcelona midfielder Fabregas.
And these four days are now vital to whether Fabregas will open the door on a move to Old Trafford or definitively tell United he is staying at Barca.
Fabregas started Barca's opening-day thrashing of Levante, but was disappointed to be dropped to the subs' bench for the first leg of the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid.
An injury to Lionel Messi meant Fabregas stepped off the bench at half-time.
But the 26-year-old now wants to start Barca's next two games against Malaga tonight and the second leg against Atletico on Wednesday night.
With Neymar scoring his first competitive goal for Barca, Fabregas still privately fears he could be squeezed out of the Spanish club's starting line-up for the biggest games.
