Manchester United have made a club record bid for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.Gazzetta dello Sport says United are willing to smash their previous transfer record to lure Vidal to Old Trafford.
It is understood that United have offered Juventus a whopping £47.5m to part with the Chile World Cup star.
United are also willing to double the 27-year-old's current salary, by offering him a bumper four-year £120,000-a-week deal.
Vidal's representative, Fernando Felicevich, will hold crunch talks with Juventus today and, according to the report, will demand they match United's offer or let his client leave.
