Sir Alex Ferguson attended a hearing at which young Serbian winger Zoran Tosic was granted a work permit. Manchester United will now sign the 21-year-old from Partizan Belgrade in January.

United have not confirmed the fee they have agreed for Tosic.

He could soon be joined by another Partizan player, 19 year old Adam Ljajic but Old Trafford officials are staying silent on developments.
