Manchester United assistant boss Carlos Queiroz insists the world has not yet seen the best of Wayne Rooney and that the 21-year-old can go on to dictate a team, or even a season, as Eric Cantona did.

Queiroz said: "He has the talent and the ambition.

"Wayne is a young player and he can improve a lot, but it will happen naturally because he has such great desire and he's open to new challenges."
