Manchester United No2 Carlos Queiroz was delighted with the performance of Anderson in their 4-0 victory over Wigan on Saturday.

It was Queiroz who urged United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to spend big on the former Porto midfielder and he said: "That was more like the Anderson we saw at Porto and I was delighted with him. I know what he is capable of and there were signs that he is beginning to settle and play at the level we want from him."
