Manchester United No2 Mike Phelan says what you see is what you get from Wayne Rooney.

Phelan says Rooney trains as he plays - at full throttle.

He said: "Wayne is on the crest of a wave at the moment. He's working hard in training, he's always out there on the training ground - it's important that players do that. His performances are of the top drawer. He's getting goals that we know he can score and we've demanded of him and he's producing that so long may it continue."
