Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar is disappointed for Liverpool attacker Ryan Babel after he was ruled out of Holland's Euro2008 squad with an ankle injury.

"We have worked hard and played well but it is a real shame we have lost Ryan Babel," said Van der Sar, who has a record 125 caps for Holland.
