Bournemouth star Simon Francis has revealed that Manchester United are no longer feared by opposition teams.
Bournemouth claimed a fine 2-1 victory over United at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday and despite the surprising nature of the final result, it has to be said that the Cherries fully deserved to claim the three points on the day.
Skipper Francis has now revealed that his side did not fear the Red Devils ahead of the clash and has stated that the 20-time champions have lost their aura.
Francis said: "I don't think they have that aura any more.
"We looked at their team, especially their back four, and knew we could exploit that while staying wary of their front three, who always looked dangerous.
"We knew we could catch them cold and it came down to the bit of inexperience they had in their team, especially in the back four."
