Daley Blind says he is honoured to be joining what he describes as the ‘biggest club in the world’.

The 24-year old Dutchman has signed a four-year deal with the Red Devils, joining from Ajax for around £14million, and was over the moon at completing his move to the famed English club.

"It's an honour to sign for United. I can't wait to work with Louis van Gaal at the biggest club in the world,” he told the club’s official website.

Of the defensive midfielder, United boss van Gaal added: "He's very intelligent and versatile and a great addition to the team."
