Manchester United never tabled a bid for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire this summer, it has been revealed.
The Telegraph says United did not submit a bid for Leicester defender Maguire during the summer.
Leicester are now in advanced talks with Maguire over a new and improved contract.
Maguire still has four years to go on the five-year deal he signed at the King Power Stadium from Hull in June 2017.
But the Foxes are ready to reward their star defender, who cost just £16m, with a bumper £75,000-a-week salary.
