This allows the Spaniards, who came out on the first-choice side of the quarter-final draw, to pick their preferred dressing room, hotel and match kit.
It means United will be in either white or black shirts for the ultimate Euro showdown because of the colour clash with Barcelona's deep red and blue strip.
