Real Madrid are ready to break the bank to keep Cristiano Ronaldo away from Manchester United.
The Daily Star Sunday says the Spaniards are piecing together a £14m-A-YEAR deal which would end all hope United had of tempting Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.
They will offer £200,000-a-week NET - and stump up an additional £75,000 a week as part of an image-rights deal.
And with Britain's tax laws, that would leave United having to come up with a package worth an astonishing £380,000 a week if they want to come even close to tabling an offer which rivals Real's.
