Manchester United must end the speculation regarding the future of key midfielder Paul Pogba, according to the club's former assistant manager.
Rene Meulensteen spent a few seasons at United serving under Sir Alex Ferguson. The former Fulham manager believes that United are doing a disservice to Pogba if they let these rumours continue.
Speaking about the Pogba situation with talkSPORT, Meulensteen said: "Nothing is impossible in football, as we all know.
"I do think the club should do everything to clear things up quickly, because Paul is a very good player and he showed that again last night.
"They need to take away the speculation around him and his position, and the sooner they do that the better it is for the club, for the player and the manager."
