Manchester United are joining the battle for Fulham fullback Ryan Sessegnon.

The Mirror says United are ready to rival Tottenham for Sessegnon.

Sessegnon, 17, has caught the eye of a number of clubs after bursting on the scene and cementing his place at left-back for the Championship club.

Jose Mourinho is keen on adding the England Under-19s star to his squad for next season.

Sessegnon is yet to agree professional terms with Fulham due to his young age but has still managed 25 league appearances and helped the club to the play-offs.

And United could snap up the defender – who has scored seven times in the league and FA Cup – for just £15million in compensation.
