Manchester United are making a late move for Palmeiras attacker Gabriel Jesus.

Estadao says United are set to battle it out with Manchester City for the 19-year-old.

They will apparently trump City's reported £27m bid with an offer of £29m excluding bonuses to try and do a deal.

Old Trafford chiefs hope that will also be enough to see off reported interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Paris St-Germain.

Gabriel is said to have a £25m release clause in his current Palmeiras deal, which still has over three years left to run.
