Man Utd move to fix Rooney row

Manchester United have no interest in selling Wayne Rooney this summer.

The Sun says Chelsea have made the unsettled England striker their only summer target, despite having a £20million bid rejected.

Rooney, 27, is "angry and confused" after new United boss David Moyes suggested he would play second fiddle behind Robin van Persie and chief executive Ed Woodward insisted he would not get a new contract this summer.

It was thought an official request from Roo to leave the Theatre of Dreams would trigger his departure.

But the Premier League champs will not be bullied into selling one of their prized assets. United believe there has been a breakdown in communication and are desperately trying to resolve the situation.
