Man Utd mourn loss of Busby Babe Bill Foulkes

Manchester United legend Bill Foulkes has passed away at the age of 81.

Foulkes, who played a remarkable 668 matches for Manchester United between 1952 and 1970, died in the early hours of this morning.

A member of the Busby Babes, centre-half Foulkes helped the club win four first division championships, the FA Cup in 1963 and the European Cup in 1968.

He is the fourth highest appearance maker for United, behind Ryan Giggs, Bobby Charlton and Paul Scholes.
