Manchester United veteran Paul Scholes expects to be missing for two weeks with a knee injury.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed the midfielder will not be available for Monday's FA Cup tie with Reading.

The United boss said: "It is a knee injury, which has been bothering him a bit.

"We have tried another treatment during the week. He will probably be back in another couple of weeks."
