Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe would prefer to stay - rather than be moved out on-loan.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has already identified Tunnicliffe as one to watch.

"Going out and getting experience last year was one thing but every lad here wants to play for the first team. I'm just trying my hardest to get there," he told manutd.com.

"It's great to hear from him (Ferguson). If he thinks highly of you, it makes you want to strive harder and try and get into his team because you know that he likes you. So, obviously, it's nice."
