Manchester United midfielder Timothy Fosu-Mensah concedes there was a lot of deliberation over his move to the English giants.

The youngster left Ajax earlier this season for United, where he is impressing with the U18 team.

He recalled to Ajax Showtime: "It was difficult.

"Of course you have your doubts. You hear the stories about young players who go abroad and do not make it. I can only give my best and hope that is enough.

"I cannot say if I will be a success abroad. Only God knows that."
