Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa knows he has a new manager to impress in the form of Louis van Gaal.
But the playmaker insists that is not his priority and his sole focus is on success with Japan at Brazil 2014.
"I think everyone knows I want to do well at the World Cup, and I'm sure everyone else does, too," the 25-year-old said at Japan's training camp.
"But I don't want to get my priorities mixed up here - the important thing is for Japan to win at the World Cup.
"I'm not using the World Cup as a place to showcase myself for [van Gaal]. I'll deal with that after this tournament is over."
