Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is in line for his first Spain cap.
The Mail on Sunday says Spain manager Vicente del Bosque has been keeping tabs on 25-year-old Herrera who is overcoming a slow start at Old Trafford to show why the club spent £29million for him from Athletic Bilbao.
Herrera is now expected to receive a call-up for the Spanish squad for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus in June.
Spain are currently revamping their midfield with Xabi Alonso and Xavi retired from international football, Javi Martinez injured and Andres Iniesta having turned 30.
