Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has avoided serious injury while in action for Armenia.

He was subbed off after 38 minutes of the friendly clash against the Czech Republic following a collision with Marek Sukhy.

Reports suggested Mkhitaryan was a doubt for the Manchester derby on September 10.

But, according to Armenian news source NEWS.am, Mkhitaryan was merely withdrawn as a precaution.

And Armenia bosses are confident he will be fully fit to play in Sunday's World Cup 2018 qualifier against Denmark on Sunday.
