Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher says Wayne Rooney is currently "unplayable".
Rooney struck twice in last night's win at AC Milan.
"Wayne Rooney is unplayable at the moment," said the Scotland midfielder. "He's up there on his own at times and he does sometimes get frustrated but his persistence paid off. Those were two great headed goals he scored. He's on fire and long may it continue."
United's win was all the more impressive for the way they recovered from their early setback to secure a first win away to the Rossoneri, and Fletcher is aware that their opponents face a tall order in trying to reverse a 3-2 deficit at Old Trafford on 10 March.
"It was a good result," added the 26-year-old. "We were a little bit disappointed to lose the second goal after being in a comfortable position but I thought we played really well in the second half and it's a good result to come here and win. Not many teams do that."
