Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher says he's now clear of his chronic bowel condition.
Fletcher was restricted to just 23 Premier League appearances over the last three seasons after developing ulcerative colitis.
But after a full pre-season this summer, the 30-year-old insists he feels 'fantastic'.
He said: "I'm past all the sentimental stuff, and I am just back to where I was, competing and trying to win things.
"I don't have the condition any more. It's not even a case of being on top of it, I just don't have it. That's a result of the operation. I feel fantastic now."
