Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini will now weigh up whether it is in his best interest to leave the club following the arrival of Nemanja Matic.
Galatasaray have emerged as favourites to sign the Belgium international.
However, when quizzed about the rumours, United boss Jose Mourinho sarcastically replied that it would be more likely for the Turkish giants to sign him, than Fellaini.
But the Portuguese might not have a choice, with the 29-year old keen for more time on the pitch this season.
Fellaini made 28 league appearances for the Red Devils last campaign, but that number is set to take a dive after the £40m signing of Matic from Chelsea.
