Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini was fortunate to escape punishment for a nasty challenge on Claudio Yacob during victory at West Bromwich Albion.

Fellaini raked his studs down the Argentinean's thigh in the 39th minute with the visitors 1-0 up through Phil Jones' header.

Yacob was replaced minutes later by James Morrison, with TV cameras showing the midfielder had three nasty-looking scratches.

Fellaini has just two yellow cards and one sending off for United this season, the red card coming in the trip to Real Sociedad in November.
