The central midfielder has been out since the start of December, but has had a set of wrist braces custom-made to quicken his recovery.
The 26-year-old is nearing a first-team return, and Belgium's physio Lieven Maesschalck said: "Marouane is desperate to get back on the pitch.
"He's had three braces made. Two are flexible and don't prevent him from moving about at all.
"But for the time being, he'll wear a firm brace which will protect him if he falls."
