Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley hopes to play for Team GB in the London Olympics.

He could still end the year a winner by helping Team GB to a gold medal at the London Olympics this summer.

Cleverley said: "It's a ­massive event, one of the highlights of the summer, and the Olympics in London is probably a once-in-a-lifetime thing, so to be involved would be a massive thing for me.

"An Olympic gold would be ­special because it's so unique. When you're young, you dream of an FA Cup winners' medals, but this would be different. It would be fantastic."
