Wanderers striker Kevin Davies has revealed his side will provide a combative test, but Cleverley is ready for it.
"Bolton are a more physical side but this is why I went to Wigan last year," he explained to manutd.com. "I played against teams like Bolton and Stoke – some of the more physical sides.
"It benefitted me massively experience-wise. Playing in the Premier League every week, having the pressure of getting results, even though it was at the different end of the table, helped me when I went into United's team this year.
"Whatever the league has to throw at me, I am ready for. If we play well I am sure we will get a positive result."
