Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley was delighted with his performance in Team GB's Olympics win over UAE.

Cleverley wants to use the Olympics as a springboard to nail down a place in Manchester United's team.

"I know I was a bit short of match fitness last season, so to play competitive games on a massive stage like the Olympics and at massive grounds is perfect for me.

"I think that's how the manager is looking at these next few weeks as well.
