Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick expects a red hot derby today at Manchester City.

United midfielder Carrick, 32, is adamant the fixture will have the same competitiveness and intensity as ever.

"Two new managers won't make that much difference because it's still a match against one of your great rivals and all that entails," he said.

"It might slightly change in terms of tactics at times but once the game starts it will be similar to previous derbies.

"So in terms of the importance, it doesn't matter who the gaffers are."
