Man Utd midfielder Anderson confident of full recovery from knee surgery

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has no doubts he will make a full recovery from his knee surgery.

Anderson was operated on by Portuguese knee specialist José Carlos Noronha, who rescued the midfielder's career when he first broke down at Porto.

"He was this doctor who operated on me when I was injured against Benfica and I think that he is right for me to recover again," said Anderson.

"I fully trust this doctor. I spoke to Manchester and they completely agreed to this move."

After surgery, Noronha declared Anderson would be again playing in six months' time.
