Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is full of pride being voted the club's Player of the Year.

Herrera has enjoyed arguably his best season for United since joining from Athletic Bilbao in 2014.

"Winning the award is a big thing for me and I'm very happy to get it because, when you see the history of the winners, you realise the amazing players who won it," said the Spain international.

"I'm happy to be a part of that; it's not easy to win that trophy for a club like this one. The votes from the fans push me to keep fighting and giving everything for United."
